From danger to the public, to benefit for the local wildlife.
A large Ash tree on Charlcombe Lane stood over a single track road, posing a threat to local dog walkers, cyclists and drivers, including our new customer Annie. It became clear it had Ash dieback and significant decay and cavities upon inspection.
The tree was dismantled using rope rigging techniques and required a road closure. When we had finished dismantling the upper canopy we left the stem as a monolith. Standing deadwood is a great benefit to small insects and birds alike.
Do you think you have signs of Ash dieback in any of your Ash trees?
Feel free to take a look at the information in the below link on Ash dieback and what to look for. Please get in touch if you would like a free quote or assessment. Bruton Tree Care is your one stop shop for large tree care and removals.
